This Privacy Policy explains what personal information SHOPIA ("we", "us") collects when you use shopiaofficial.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. SHOPIA is an online store based in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, delivery address and any note you add to the order.
  • When you create an account: your name, email address, optional phone number and a password. Passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form; we can never see them.
  • When you contact us: your name, email address, optional phone number and your message. If you contact us on WhatsApp, the conversation also takes place under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
  • When you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address and a record of when you gave consent.

Information collected automatically

  • Essential cookies: a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in, a short-lived cookie that lets you view your order confirmation, and a cookie that remembers your chosen display currency.
  • Your browser's local storage: your cart and wishlist are saved on your own device so they are still there when you return.
  • Basic technical information: your browser type when you sign in, so you can recognise and end your active sessions.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. If this changes, we will update this policy first.

How we use your information

  • To process, deliver and support your orders, including contacting you about delivery.
  • To manage your account and keep it secure.
  • To answer your questions and requests.
  • To send our newsletter, only if you subscribed. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
  • To prevent fraud and misuse of our website, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information only where needed to run the store:

  • Courier and delivery partners: your name, phone number and address, so they can deliver your order.
  • Payment partners: the details needed to process a payment or refund, such as the bank used for a transfer.
  • Hosting providers: our website and database are hosted with Railway, on servers located in the United States. Your information is stored there under appropriate security controls.
  • Authorities: where we are required to by law, or to protect our customers, our business or the public.

Purchases made through external marketplaces (such as Daraz, Amazon or eBay) are handled by that marketplace under its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

  • Order records: kept for as long as needed for accounting, tax, warranty and legal purposes.
  • Account information: kept until you ask us to delete your account.
  • Contact messages: kept while we deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards.
  • Newsletter subscription: kept until you unsubscribe. We then keep only a record that you opted out.

Your choices and rights

You can:

  • View and update your account details at any time from My account.
  • Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct or delete your information, unless we must keep it for legal or accounting reasons.
  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.

To make a request, email us from the address linked to your account or order.

Security

We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, secure sign-in cookies and restricted administrative access. No online service can be completely secure, so please keep your password private and let us know immediately if you suspect any misuse of your account.

Children

SHOPIA is not intended for children under 18. Younger customers should shop with the help of a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on our website.
